Press Release from Kosovo Security Forces: Denouncement of False News
In response to false claims by Gazeta METRO, Kosovo Security Forces vehemently denounce the fabricated article. The alleged FSK member mentioned is demobilized and does not represent us.
In response to the recent misleading article published by "Gazeta METRO," Ibrahim Shala, the press officer of the Kosovo Security Forces (FSK), vehemently denounced the false claims made against the FSK in a press release issued today.
The article, titled "FSK Member Supports Hamas in the Israel-Palestine Conflict, Applauds the Massacre of 40 Infants," was published on the portal "GAZETA METRO." Shala clarified that the alleged FSK member mentioned in the article, Hajzer Shyti, has been demobilized from the FSK for the past five years. He emphasized that the individual mentioned does not represent the FSK in any capacity.
Shala expressed deep concern regarding the fabricated content, calling it tendentious, biased, and harmful to the image of the Kosovo Security Forces. The press officer urged both the media and the public to exercise caution and verify news sources, particularly in exceptional circumstances, to prevent the dissemination of unverified information. He highlighted the importance of media outlets ensuring the accuracy of their news reports to safeguard the reputation of Kosovo and its security forces.
"We urge the media to be vigilant and responsible in verifying news related to the image of our state and its security forces," stated Shala. "Spreading unverified news only serves those who do not have the best interests of Kosovo and its security at heart."
The Kosovo Security Forces remain dedicated to their mission of ensuring the safety and security of the people of Kosovo and reaffirm their commitment to upholding the truth and accuracy in media reporting.
